Company History
Sanctuary Counseling was founded in 2007 with the intention of creating a different kind of group practice, one that centers sustainability, professional respect, and clinical excellence. From the beginning, our goal has been to build a practice where clinicians feel supported rather than pressured, and where quality of care is prioritized over volume.
Over time, Sanctuary has grown into a multi-site practice serving diverse communities across Pennsylvania. As we have expanded, we have remained committed to our core values: trauma-informed care, ethical practice, collaboration, and the belief that clinicians deserve fair compensation and meaningful support for all aspects of their work.
Our growth has been guided by listening closely to the needs of both clients and clinicians, and by creating systems that protect against burnout while fostering professional development.
