Description
The Licensed Therapist provides clinical support to individuals in early intervention programs, addressing co-occurring needs and promoting overall well-being. They conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based therapies such as CBT, MI, and Solution-Focused approaches to achieve positive treatment outcomes. The role also involves engaging families and communities in care, coordinating service linkages, and ensuring smooth transitions to appropriate levels of care after program completion.
Assist with co-occurring stabilization for those we serve, and any medication needs for our individuals to enhance their daily quality of life
Utilize assessment and evidenced-based modalities to ensure the most successful outcome for the individual's needs (MI, CBT, Solution-focused, IMR, etc)
Participate in innovation initiatives designed to engage families and communities in treatment
Ensure proper service linkage to appropriate level of care and flow upon exiting our 30-day Early Intervention Support Service
Requirements
Must possess a Master's Degree within the Human Services Field
New Jersey license in good standing (minimum of LAC, LSW)
CADC or LCADC preferred. May be an addiction counselor-intern working toward CADC.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong clinical perspectives
Engage in the Team approach, and strength-based initiatives with our team members and our EISS Co-Occurring population
